Section 508 Standards
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACCESS ACT: Computer and network security is of paramount concern at VECRA. VECRA wants to ensure that computer/network hardware and software does not compromise the security of its IT environment. VECRA will use commercially reasonable measures in connection with any offerings made to avoid any known threat to the security of the IT environment at VECRA.
All e-learning and information technology developed, purchased, upgraded, or renewed by or for the use of VECRA shall comply with all applicable company policies, Federal and State laws, and regulations including but not limited to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), the Information Technology Access Act, §§2.2-3500 through 2.2-3504 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, and all other regulations promulgated under Title II of The Americans with Disabilities Act which are applicable to all benefits, services, programs, and activities provided by or on behalf of the University.
